hi! I just learned that I don’t pee out of the extra skin thing (I think it’s called the glans clitoris, it’s the thing under the hood). I went through a sex ed class with 0 anatomy (It was pro-abstinence). Does that part of the body do anything (does it serve a purpose)? Thank you so much!
Hello! Yes, that's correct: you pee out of the urethra, which is often separate from the clitoris. (Though sometimes, admittedly it is not.)
As for whether the clitoris serves any purpose, it depends! It has a lot of nerves in it that people stimulate for pleasure/stress relief/exercise! So it can serve a purpose but it depends on the person, as some people don't use it at all.
