#clinic problems

Every now and then there is an emergency situation when we need to move a patients’ appointment up an hour or so or out a few days.  Is it just me, or does everyone feel that their clinic “messes up” like that far more often than others?  Whenever I call someone to double-check their insurance numbers, or to reschedule an appointment, I can’t help but to think of my own experiences with clinical appointments and how incredibly rarely I receive call back to check on things.  Am I just more aware of the goings on of an office now?  Do we really suck that hard?  Do I just think too much?  Probably a little of each.

im at a clinic today because my right ear is all plugged up after this cold i had just last weekend, and you'd think after being told that people would speak up. the nurse asked me of MY marital status after asking if my parents were still alive. And i misheard her, asked if Id misheard, and corrected the mistake and she was kind of huffy with me. Like, oh, I'm sorry I'm here because I can't hear clearly out of my dominant ear. now i know how my mother feels.

Two guys in the clinic are arguing about font. No really. They are arguing over whether to underline or bold something.
