Client party
It was another one of the firm’s office parties and apparently they’re not as optional as they’d like you to think. So after Lilah finished up with her work for the day, then she went home and took a quick shower and changed before coming back to the office for the party. They’d decided to hold it in the main lobby; it was all set up with a buffet style and a decent sized bar near the back of the lobby.  She found a spot by the bar and ordered a drink. Lilah scanned the crowd while she waited for her drink. The firm only threw a handful of parties, the biggest being the Halloween bash, the second was usually the annual review and then there were a few like this one that were just for mingling with clients and potential clients. Lilah’s drink a Scotch on the rocks was placed in front of her. She smiled and thanked the bartender, before taking her glass and looking around the room again. The firm’s parties that were all about the client mingling tended to bore her, but it did make for some entertaining people watching if nothing else.
