pre-kiss story: you and abi were outside, enjoying the scenery and taking in the scent of nature. you two had gotten into a relationship with each other about three weeks ago, but havenât had your first kiss yet. you just assumed abi wasnât ready, so you just didnât bring it up at all. you were up, moving around and ranting about your day while abi was sitting on a log, drawing in her sketchbook and listening attentively. sheâd been drawing multiple sketches of you, smiling at each one of them. you noticed her smiling at her sketches, and you walked over to her and sat beside her, asking what she was smiling about. she showed you and described how perfect of a muse you were. her eyes kept darting from your eyes to your lips, as if she were debating whether or not to go for it, and thatâs when it happened.

pre-kiss story:Â one of the campers in nickâs group had asked him if he was dating you. his eyes immediately widened and asked the kid who they had heard it from. the camper shrugged in response and repeated the question. nick sighed and said yes, and then his whole group started chiming in. they didnât believe him, since theyâd never seen you two hug or kiss each other. it was true you hadnât kissed before, since you guys had just gotten together yesterday. the kids demanded proof, practically pushing him over to you. he pleaded and begged for mercy, but to no avail. theyâd successfully shoved him to you and werenât leaving until they saw the kiss. nick tapped on your shoulder and you turned to him. upon seeing his campers behind him, you asked what the occasion was. he whispered what was going on in your ear and you smiled. and thatâs when it happened.

pre-kiss story:Â you and emma had been dating a little before applying to be camp counselors at hackettâs quarry. you both expressed how you werenât ready for your first kiss yet, and patiently waited until the right moment. during the summer, you were ready to kiss emma, but didnât want to tell her in case she still wasnât ready. unsurprisingly, nobody noticed you two were dating. you guys werenât as touchy with each other like most couples would be, but itâs just because all the affection is in private. at the end of summer, when everyone was playing truth or dare, neither of you participated in any kissing dares out of respect for the other. after the game, you two decided to go swimming near the dock. you guys played in the water, splashing each other occasionally. but then you had a deep conversation and emma got lost in your eyes. and thatâs when it happened.

pre-kiss story: he was crushing on you for the entirety of summer, and it was very very obvious. you caught on, but didnât want to risk being rejected in case he didnât have any feelings for you and only admired you as a friend. your friendship was chaotic and nick teased him endlessly about you. whenever you came around, nick would make kissing sounds, much to jacobâs embarrassment. he invited you to take a walk with him around the camp and you accepted. while walking, youâd talked about a lot of things. you didnât expect him to be so sweet. he asked what your life goals were, what you were truly interested in, stuff he hadnât asked you when he was previously getting to know you. you happily answered, asking some questions of your own. you two fell silent after a bit before jacob asked if you were ready for a relationship. and thatâs when it happened.

pre-kiss story: you two were the quiet counselors, compared to everyone else, that is. you guys kept to yourselves, not very interested in social interaction. until you mentioned you had interest in the paranormal. ryan was briefly shocked, as he didnât expect someone to match his interests. this drew him to you. you guys became quick friends and he developed a crush on you, and vice versa. each day heâd walk over and sit next to you, offering one of his earbuds and you accepted every time, like today. the same voices filling your ear everyday were getting annoying, but if it made ryan happy, youâd tough it out. he gave a deep sigh, and you turned to him, asking if he was okay. he let it all out, telling you that he had a giant crush on you. he told you he didnât expect you to reciprocate his feelings. you put your hand on his, and thatâs when it happened.
if you hadnât initiated it, it probably wouldnât have happened (not because he didnât want it to happen, but because he wouldâve been too shy)

pre-kiss story: you two were not supposed to here. you somehow convinced nick to give you the keys to the kitchen at 4 am. dylan kept telling you that the fear of getting caught was part of the fun. you guys decided to bake a cake. he had invited you to come with him to do something with him so he could cherish the memory, as you two had just started dating. you had to contain your laughter or else youâd somehow wake the whole camp. needless to say, you guys made a huge mess. flour was everywhere, the cleaning that lied ahead was going to suck. dylan told you not to worry about it, and to enjoy the moment. you sighed and shook your head at his care-free nature. after the cake was done, youâd decided there needed to be frosting too. when you decide to open a container of frosting and put it on the cake, dylan scoops a little bit of frosting on his finger and rubs it on his lips. he comes up with a great idea in which he grabs your attention, daring you to kiss it off. and thatâs when it happened.

pre-kiss story: you had the most obvious crush on kaitlyn, it was so obvious that she knew before anyone else did. she also had a crush on you, just not nearly as obvious. you werenât embarrassed, though. you went out of your way to compliment her and impress her, to which sheâd give a sarcastic response. her words didnât match her feelings at all, as she was very happy about it. recalling the times you showed off for her and only her, the times you complimented her smile, the times youâd say the most corny pick-up lines, only for her. this time, you took her to the shooting range, telling her if you hit the target with the shotgun, sheâd have to give you a kiss. she was shocked at the proposal, but agreed nonetheless. you took your shot but missed. she gave another sarcastic remark, but upon seeing your genuinely upset face, she took matters into her own hands. and thatâs when it happened.

pre-kiss story: you and max were a fresh couple, and a couple days in you had let max rant to you, but you didnât know he had so many insecurities. you were glad he wanted to confide in you, but you did not expect this. he hated how dependent and helpless he was. he felt like a burden to people, especially you. he despised how awkward he could be. he thought you wouldnât like someone like him, and how you should try and find someone better. he kept rambling on and on and you couldnât believe your ears. yes, he was awkward at times but you loved it. everything he hated himself for, you loved. no matter what, you loved every flaw of him, because thatâs what made him max. you stared at him in disbelief as he listed things he hated about himself. you had no idea where this was coming from, he probably bottled all of it up. you spoke his name softly, he kept talking. you spoke it a little louder, he still kept ranting. you gave up on words, and tried something different. and thatâs when it happened.

pre-kiss story: you had scraped your arm after a hard fall and had to go see laura in the nurseâs office again. upon seeing your arrival, she gave a faux groan of annoyance. you laughed at her reaction. you guys have been trying to get a kiss in all summer, being a new couple and all. every time you tried, though, youâd get interrupted by injured campers, or just troublesome campers. sometimes both. youâd get a good laugh out of it, but it really sucked. you wondered if laura was as bothered by this as you were, because you really wanted to kiss her. she teased you about your injury while tending to it with care. once she was finished patching you up, she packed up all the first aid supplies and starting speaking in a low, flirty tone. no one else was around so you could finally have your kiss, or so you thought. when she was inches away from your face, dylan barged in, playfully demanding a band-aid. she opened the first aid kit, grabbed a band-aid, and threw it towards him. she told him to get out, as you two were having a moment. dylan scurries out the door, and she turns to you. and thatâs when it happened.
