i have this headcanon that in Gallilfreyan pronouns probably aren't gendered (Because Regeneration) but they do have a whole array of pronouns relating to past and future (and etc) versions of someone, which make potentially confusing time-travel scenarios easier to discuss.
and there are better ways to translate these into other languages than the non-Gallifreyan characters usually get stuck listening to, but the tardis just like to fuck with people a bit sometimes.
the doctor: "so as [pronoun A] was just explaining to [pronoun B], [pronoun A] think that [pronoun C] and [pronoun A] should work on this together."
the tardis, in the companion's head: "he just said 'me' a bunch of times there :) hope this helps :)"
lance's behaviour around her and the bad canon development made me kind of dislike canon allurance. lotor killing a disabled woman in his employ, working allura to exhaustion and the whole mess with the colony made me kind of dislike canon lotura. i think i could have enjoyed one or both of these ships if i didn't have to work around these problems. i respect fans who do like either or both of those but it's mixed feelings for me. with shiro i don't need to work around anything. tl;dr: shallura.
lotura and allurance never could have worked outside of fanon imo. shiro’s the only truly Unproblematic man who treated her right in canon
When people are mocking the "tesseroki" thing and I'm sat there like "Oh yeah, that's so stupid! Imagine shipping an alien with a blue box, that's... that's just madness! What sort of fool would do something like that!" while sweating profusely and trying to hide all that Doctor/TARDIS fic before anyone sees it.
Torn between the traditional fandom instinct to absolve the villain of all responsibility for their crimes and the Missy voice in my head saying "Don't. Don't you dare. Don't even think about it. I killed all those innocent people (some them more than once!) and you will give me the credit for those murders. Those are my crimes and I refuse to let you take them from me."

did i ever mention it took me bloody ages to realise why Radar doesn't (usually) drink alcohol in M*A*S*H? i went ages assuming the Grape Nehi habit was because "oh he's so naive, that farm-boy, he doesn't even drink alcohol" which seemed odd (because rural people drinking a lot is a bit of a cliche here) but i just went with it?
i dunno when exactly it clicked that "ooooh, he's underage" but it wasn't just that I'd forgotten that the US drinking age is 21 it was def being compounded by the fact that he's in a war. He's in a war, he's supposedly old enough to kill and to be killed himself, surely he must also be old enough to legally develop an alcohol problem to cope with all that like most of the others have?
but no he's not, and now that makes me extra aware of how young he actually is. the lad can't even have a pint. ffs.
wait do people actually think nishikiryu is incest... please get lives im begging you
fuck everyone sleeping on pet tbh including whoever decided its budget would be $3 and a paperclip
