does cdream feel embarassed to have never realized that he proposed to ctechno on their duel? How does bad feel about the engagement?
hmm something important to think about is the whole timeline of events. if dream had found out he accidentally proposed to techno during their duel pretty soon after it happened, then, yeah he would've felt embarrassed.
but he finds out post-prison. he's not in prison as long as he was in canon, but he's still in there for a while, and it takes time for techno to get him out. so, he finds out post-prison, and he's not embarrassed per say, he's just... baffled. he doesn't get why techno never broke off the engagement. he doesn't get why techno kept trying. he doesn't get why techno cared.
the whole concept of techno actually wanting the engagement just doesn't make sense in dream's mind. it won't make sense for a long time.
bad feels pretty good about the engagement lol. at the beginning, he was just really happy for dream (dream assumed he was just proud of him for doing his best in the duel ๐ญ). he's also relieved by the end of it. he's relieved someone had the means to get dream out of prison. he's relieved dream still has someone who he can rely on to support him. I'd say overall he's always had pretty favorable views of the engagement.

he just broke it like nothing!! Dream trusted him so much!! put his life in his hands!!! trusted him to handle the power!! and like nothing; within days; even hours; Sam's broken it. (he doesn't feed him. he doesn't provide him with any stimulation. he doesn't even talk to him. he doesn't even care when Dream's hurt. he calls him an attention-seeker when he burns himself in the lava.)
It's such a. Sam is so /weirdly/ obsessed with Dream but Dream thought he would be safe with him. He was supposed to keep him safe.
yeah and those who learn to accept the parts they dislike and like from them it's what makes you having a healthy relationship with you fanatism with the dteam. Bc i saw a lot drantis that started as sap antis. Accept that even things or people you like will have stuff you don't like it's the first step to have a good way to enjoy things
literally like I don't like/agree with everything they do because I just do not care that much like in real life I disagree with people and we all stan problematic millionaires because they are entertaining ๐ญ no worse then stanning taylor swift or some other billionaire celeb who probably has labor and environmental practices that you hate ๐ญ๐ญ I think the problem is when people use who they stan as a political message like girl its minecraft

Hmm my favorite whump tropes? I'll be honest most of the times I'm not really sure what the tropes are called ... sue me. So, I'm not sure if I'm getting those right but I would say that among my favorites are: villain whumpee and hero whumper, whumper turned whumpee, whumper turned caretaker (out of guilt preferably) and I also like vampire whumpees ... There is more stuff that I like but those are just the thing that always make me very happy when I see them in a story. Pet whump also has it's charm but it's like 50/50 cuz it can get weird sometimes ....
