Ruby came out of the nursery room, a satisfied look on her face. Aj runned toward her with a concerned and scared look on his face.

"How're they?How's Clem?"

The tone of his voice broke her heart but she had good news for him.

"No worries sug, they'll be fine! I patched them up and they're getting better. Just let them rest"

Those words relaxed Aj so much. He had nightmares all the night, about what happened the previous day.

Clem fell on her knees, she just got a bulled in her stomach trying to stop the bandit from hurting Violet more.

"You little-"

He didn't finish his sentence yet as an arrow hit him in the neck.

Behind a bush were hiding Louis and Aasim, they heard the screams and got over there as fast as they could.

They saw the two girls, they were on the ground, Clem with her hands on her stomach and Violet with a hand on her eye that now had a big scar.

They carried them back to the school, to Ruby.

She spent all night in the nursery room patching them up, while the others waited outside.

The night seemed to never end.

The two girls were lying on the comfy bed, holding hands, their body so close trying to warm themself up.

Their wounds stinging like hell but there was nothing they could do other than staying beside each other when their wounds would sting more, holding each other's hand even tighter.

The blonde was surprised from the unexpected singing of her beloved

Was she afraid?

Was she trying to calm Violet from her pain?

Maybe she was the one in pain

Her voice didn't sound broken, It was more...tired

Oh how Violet loved this song, she remembered when Louis and Minnie were composing It, they spent all night long, It sounded stupid but when they made everyone listen It didn't anymore.

The song became a light when things weren't going so well.

She was lost in her thought, she didn't even noticed Clem changed some words. She wanted to help Violet with those heartbreaking memories, she has never been good at hiding her feelings when she was upset.

Their eyelids were so heavy, their foreheads touching as they nearly fell asleep.

The atmosphere was calming because there was nothing to be afraid now, they had each other.

Those words she said to Kenny echoed in her mind but was she wrong?

She gave a reassuring smiled, Violet returned It before both of them fell asleep with that thought in mind.
