Shield (Heir + Knight): One who protects (through) the aspect which they embody. Cleave (Life + Blood): The growth and development of bonds; the connections formed through change.

Shield of Cleave: One who embodies the development of bonds. One who, by acting as an emissary for interpersonal development, protects the stability of relationships as they grow and change. One who defends the people they've connected with, or people who've connected with each other, by embodying and channeling necessary changes within the connection itself.

Prone to: Playing mediator, giving relationship advice (see: the meme about spinning a wheel with "BREAK UP" and "COMMUNICATE" written on it), encouraging healthy conversations / open communication, "do no harm but take no shit," straightforwardness. Watch out for: Giving advice but not taking it, trying to have emotional conversations immediately upon conflict rather than allowing the dust to settle, not trusting a peaceful / unmoving relationship, needing the stimulation of disagreements / points of contention with close companions to feel fulfilled.

Was feeling nostalgic, so have a Hekapoo from my old Cleaved comic, plus a. Alt outfit based on some Lego pieces I was playing with.

Summary: Intercision was a highly taboo topic, so Jon didn't just go around telling people that he and his daemon were severed. No one had believed him at eight when he said that a giant spider had cut them apart; he had applied to work at the Magnus Institute hoping to look for answers, not to make friends, not for anyone to discover that his bond with his daemon was abnormal. As it turned out, Jon didn't have much of a choice. And the answers he found would tell him more about what fear could do to daemons than he ever could have imagined.
