Cleaning and Organizing Before Selling
So, I have seen a lot of new on the market homes this week and have decided that agent’s are always telling their clients what needs to be clean during a showing. I know that anyone can walk into my home and will possibly find a clutter spot that I don’t notice because I see my home all the time..clients need that little push too.
Yes, buyers look in the closets and storage areas so NO do not think that just shoving everything in the closet is going to be a viable solution especially when you open the door and its stuffed so full that things fall out...
I know everyone has a dvd cabinet still but that it something you can tuck away, it isn’t something you’re using every day (or even every month) so it may be one of those things you can go ahead and pack and slip into the attic.
You’re having an open house this morning? Maybe it isn’t a great idea to cook your famous bacon and gravy sausage with ham steaks....that smell lingers LOOONNG after you are done eating and cleaning it up...people pick up on smells and yes although it may not deter them from making an offer on your home if they love it, it doesn’t set a pleasant experience as they're walking around looking..wondering if the smell will stay with the home.
