Since I liked the results from yesterday’s mug post. I applied the idea to a larger vase. This vase is 18 inches high and constructed of press molded body casts and wheel thrown parts. I still have to do a surface sanding on this piece to give it an aged appearance and reveal layers. I need to tone down the black strips too, so sanding and maybe some additional underglaze application will be in order.
