Something a little different today...my Google Keep set up for my personal e-mail :)Â
This is one I’ve set up more as a “To-Do” list board. This Google Keep page I’ve set up purely for aesthetics so that when I look at my lists it’s sort of fun and calm to look at.  I really like that my personal e-mail can be more streamlined and pretty. On stuff that currently overlaps with work, I’ve added my work e-mail as a collaborator (the little orange circle under “Room Set up”). I love that I could add pictures and coordinate the pictures with a colorful background (although the colors are actually meant to help you group ahaha...whoops). I’m a huge Miyazaki/Studio Ghibli fan so it’s fun to open this page and see scenes from my favorite movies :)Â
I love that Google Keep lets you drag and drop the lists around so when different lists are more of a priority I bump them up. One list that I use to help me with my executive dysfunction is my “Focus List” where I limit myself to 3 to-do items at a time, and that helps me to prioritize and get started or break a bigger task on another list into manageable bits. Another list that I’ve used a lot this week is my “Completed” list (soot sprites). Yes, you can see the number of items completed in a list right underneath, but some lists I’ve used the same one for multiple years (look at “Room Set up” 123 items complete, but that’s because I rename and reuse that list as I go instead of deleting to maintain my aesthetic pictures xD). I’m feeling VERY anxious before the start of school and I’ve not been giving myself enough credit or breaks. If I’m feeling anxious that I haven’t “done enough” I sit and list what I’ve done that day as a reflection tool, and it really helps calm me down or remind me to take a freaking break!
There is a lot more you can do with google keep than just a pretty to-do list board, but all of that functionality I use in my work e-mail. My work Google Keep (not pictured) is a lot less #aesthetics to look at because when it first loads it’s basically a large stream of information. But, it’s easy to find what I need because I properly use the labels and colors in that one :)Â
