Designing a Product Details Screen for a Classified Marketplace Mobile App That Feels Human
For this Product Details Screen, I wanted to design more than a layout — I wanted to design a feeling. Classified Marketplaces can be overwhelming, so I approached this screen with the intention of making every element feel calm, predictable, and trustworthy.
The hero image is intentionally bold, creating a moment of emotional pause. Users need to feel the product before they evaluate it. After capturing attention, I built a structured pathway using clean metadata: price, condition, and listing details that support quick verification.
A major challenge was minimizing the friction between discovery and communication. Many users abandon listings because reaching out feels like a big jump. To solve this, I created a soft but clear action cluster — Chat, Call Now, and Save — designed to feel inviting rather than pushy.
The interface uses smooth spacing, gentle contrast, and intuitive alignment to guide the eye naturally through the experience. It’s a visual story that unfolds without forcing itself.
In your experience, what visual cue makes a product details screen feel more credible?
