This vintage interview from a German magazine gives us a fascinating look into Izzy Stradlinβs mind right after leaving Guns N' Roses. He opened up about needing a complete break to clear his head, even leaving his guitar packed away for the first month while traveling across the US.
Once the inspiration returned, he started writing songs by December 1991 and formed his new project with bassist Jimmy Ashhurst. A crazy detail he mentioned is that they actually had to flee Los Angeles and finish recording in Chicago due to the famous 1992 LA riots happening right outside their studio!
