A while ago I wrote a 4th-level spell called Abdication (which you can find in Uvoir's Assemblage of Arcane Might) that let you teleport out of danger when attacked or forced to make a saving throw. I've since revisited it with some wording improvements that will make it into the next version of that document, but in the meantime this is an Oracle feature that spawned off the same idea.
Avoidance is a 7th-level Oracle feature that lets you use your reaction to move up to half your speed when forced to make a saving throw. If you move to a space where you wouldn't be affected (out of the AOE, out of range, behind total cover, etc) then you avoid the effect.
I like this feature as another way to convey the Oracle's power of precognition, and I especially like the mental image of the party's Oracle silently walking a few feet to the side right before the party gets hit with a fireball from a hidden enemy.
This feature is meant to be roughly equivalent to the Rogue's Evasion feature, but time will tell whether it needs adjustment. Currently, it has no resource cost or use limit, but it might get one if it seems too potent as is.

If you end this movement in a space that is out of the effect’s range or affected area, or that would otherwise make it impossible for the effect to target you, you avoid the effect entirely. End ID]
