But when Tifa suddenly reappears, Aerith begins to consider that life in Radiant Garden might not ever be the same as it was before—it might end up being better than she ever dreamed.

Ever since she was a child, Tifa has been terrified of ghosts, and her worst fear comes to life when she discovers a ghost haunting her new apartment. That ghost is Cloud, a young man who has been tethered to his apartment for months after a tragic motorcycle accident, and is just as shocked as Tifa that she can see him.
After a bumpy start, Cloud and Tifa agree to cohabit the apartment peacefully until they can find a way for Cloud to move on to the afterlife. But when romantic feelings start to develop between Tifa and Cloud, the situation becomes a bit more complicated--because how could a romance between a ghost and a human ever have a happy ending?

Bartz promises to help Cloud get back to his home world, but Cloud isn't too bothered to be in a whole new world with Bartz at his side.
When the two warriors finally get to spend time together—time that doesn't involve fighting or running for their lives—the feelings that have been building up between them finally begin to emerge.
