I saw someone comment on how a season 4/continuation of Hannibal would work and I have a few ideas, @blood-knot this is for you!
1 - they go the fanfiction route and essentially just turn it into a murder romcom of Hannigram in Cuba
2- Clarice gets involved and I think there are several ways this could happen but one of my favorites is Hannigram escapes to Paris bc that's so on brand for Hannibal. There's a lot of metaphors and definitely a few (or one really well done) chase through the catacombs. Jack only brought Clarice because he thought it was a dead end and it would just be a good way to get her feet wet, never in a million years did he think she would actually find them.
3- Season 4 follows Hannigram post fall (whatever and wherever that may be) and ultimately ends with their capture and return to prison. Season 5 follows the Silence of the Lambs storyline with Clarice meeting with both Will and Hannibal, as opposed to just Hannibal.
I feel like there would definitely be a lot of crossover with Clarice and Bedelia (assuming she survives having her leg turned into dinner) as well as Clarice and Miriam Lass. The dynamic between Clarice and Jack would likely be very different to how it's portrayed in the books/movies due to Clarice being the third of Jack's to be involved with Hannibal and given what happened to Miriam and Will, I don't know how that would shake out or what changes would be made to the story.
Chilton and Freddie are their own whole cans of worms that I don't even think I have the brainpower to get into because so much of their stories/characters were changed - Freddie surviving the Dragon, Chilton getting the treatment Freddie has in the book/movie at the hands of the Dragon. There's just a lot to unpack there.
There are of course holes in these plots and I don't think the fandom would overall even like Clarice's involvement (which sucks for me) but also her storyline would get majorly screwed up given that the entire last book about Clarice and Hannibal is the Mason Verger storyline which, as we know, already happened. There is also the matter of Clarice and Hannibal's relationship at the end of the books and how that will affect everything else going on. Again, I don't think Hannigram fans will be particularly pleased with Clarice's involvement.
At the very least I would love even just a short Hannibal movie to at least wrap up the cliff hangar the show left us on.
