"Clandestine Affection"
A poem about a student who fell in love with his teacher.
Slight beam on teacher's face,
Lifted a student's spirit grace
Illicit heartbeat, I start to chase
Neither, feelings will soon be ablazed.
A reverie that you are mine,
Is a surd notion I have in mind.
A student's heart genuinely entwined
'Coz glance of you, are my sunshine.
Yet, rules stood tall, a barrier unyield
Love's silent whispers concealed.
In the shadows cast, our tale unfurled
Kept running in my delusional world.
This delicate affection I possess,
Infusing in like tiny puzzle pieces
Retained in walls of secret space
Suppressed 'til courage, love express.
