Gnome Chomsky
So what I need you to understand is that I'm currently taking a psychology class, right. and So I see this in my inbox and at first I'm confused. What is a Gnome Chomsky? It sounds like a character from something. First thing that came to mind was a Chompy, from Skylanders, but I realized no that can't possibly be right. Then I thought of Kamski, that one guy from the robot game. And I'm like "Chomsky would be a really weird mispelling of that, though" so I went right back to being confused.
But simultaneously I recognized Chomsky. I was like "Hm. That's a name I recall." And I kept repeating Gnome chomsky aloud to myself while having a breakdown earlier. It sounded so familiar. I know who this is. Chomsky. Chomsky. Gnome Chomsky. Who is that.
And so after a while of repeating it I decided to look it up.
Imagine my emotions here, right. On one hand, "OH, that's why I recognized Chomsky! We've talked about this guy in class multiple times! He's the language guy!" On the other hand,
why are there gnomes of noam chomsky. why are they here. what purpose do they serve. i don't understand. i'm afraid.
