The Oakley City Council announced Monday afternoon that 12-applicants have applied for the City Council seat to soon be vacated by Diane Burgis. The Council will decide Tuesday evening who will replace Burgis.

Burgis, will resign January 12 and take a seat on the East Bay Regional Park District Board after being elected in November with 56.33% of the vote.
