Michael Krieg Appointed to Oakley City Council

On Tuesday night, the Oakley City Council selected Michael Krieg as its choice to replace Councilman Doug Hardcastle who was retiring at the end of the meeting.

In the final scoring, Krieg scored a total of 9 points followed by Roni Gehlke at 5 points and Yared Oliveros and Michael Dupray each scored 4 points.

The deadline to apply for the soon to be vacant Oakley City Council seat is approaching and so far, five residents have submitted applications.
