Moosey Comic Question!
Cross-posted from my LJ!
So I'm making this comic, and now that the Prologue's almost done, I'm about to move on with the main characters in the present time.
And one of the main characters is a moose named Ckazz. And the thing with moose is that their antlers are deciduous. The comic takes places over the better part of a year, from springish to late fallish. So in the actual world, Ckazz would start out with no antlers, and they would grow as the story progresses. But would that confuse people? He doesn't have too many fancy markings or anything to distinguish him from any other moose, but he's also the only moose character IN the story, so it's not like there are any other moose to confuse him with. So what makes more sense? Keep it real and show some time progression and let his antlers grow? Or give him a full rack the entire time for the sake of character continuity?
I'm kind of temped to let them grow. I haven't seen that done and it would be a great gauge of time passage, but I don't knooooooow hm.
