Violence is not necessary to destroy a civilisation. Each civilisation dies from indifference toward the unique values which created it.

Fire, woman and sea, the mighty three.
Progress ages badly. Each generation brings a new model of progressivism which discards with contempt the previous model. Nothing is more grotesque than yesterday’s progressive.

Civlisation was built on pride
not just a dream.
I live in an old house far away from civilisation situated in a meadow full of wild flowers. When you open the windows to let the warm breeze inside, you can smell and taste the salty sea nearby. Vegetables and fruits grow in a subsistence garden. An independent life. Trees also grow whereever they want - it's a wild property in the heart of the beautiful wildness. My little children play in their treehouses. They are often full of mud, because they are intrepid adventurer. The two dogs have an eye on them as well as on the farm-donkey, which is doing just funny nonsense. Horses, some pigs and a handfull sheeps and goats are also living with us. And when it gets dark at night, chrickets chirping and the milky way begin to shine above our heads, my love and I, sitting on the veranda, know ... this could be true happiness.
