Inktober Day 17: Ornamentation
i really love the ciupagi (walking sticks/hatchets) that Górale - but particularly the shepherds - use up in the mountain pastures (and the old robbers, can't forget about those!).
and then I figured, who better to draw WITH a ciupaga than Sabała himself? Sabała was a very famous Góral musician, storyteller, and mountain guide - and he may have been a brigand himself! every Góral knows his name - he even has a music genre named after him.
