So! Since the Luna II archon quest made me cry and desire more Khaenri'ah lore, Arsene's khaenri'an in this <3 he's nothing special, just a regular citizen who ended up with the (unfortunate) luck to be too close to the princess that day (oops I forgot to give him star-shaped pupils). Instead of staying with the Order, Arsene just fucked off to wander through Teyvat until he came upon Remuria, got deeply affected by seeing another grand civilization in ruin, and then got involved in the whole Narcissenkreuz Ordo questline before wandering around again, causing charming chaos wherever he went. Close to the present timeline Arsene's one of the people involved with the Spina di Rosula and had been good friends with Navia's father (and Lyney's magician teacher pre-Lyney forgive me I forgot his name oops). After Ren settled into Fontaine Arsene up and decided to just... stick around the repair shop in delight.

Nagisa's a second or third-generation Inazuman in Nod-Krai, though he feels alienated by Inazuma especially considering the whole vision hunt decree. I'm not sure if I want to give him a vision or a moon wheel. He's kind-of an orphan in that his parents travel around often, and he mostly spends his time around the docks - often enough, actually, that the local dockhands end up taking him under their wing. He's terrified of Aino, a little bit, but also mad impressed by her skills (Nagisa can do simple repairs like any Nod-Kraian worth their salt, but he's no wunderkind). Nagisa doesn't search for danger, per se, it generally finds him, but that's how he ends up meeting Janosik!

Janosik's a lightkeeper, possibly around Flins' rank, and is often stationed around Hiisi Island bc he's got some distant family in the scions. An excellent hunter, of game or the night hunt both, and a fair man. He's something of an adopted uncle to Nagisa, gruff on the outside but a real softy once you know him. Definitely not fond of any sort of Archon at all, especially considering the horror stories many Inazumans bring with them, or what he knows of the Tsaritsa herself, though he's also not quite believing in the moons like the frostmoon scions.

I am absolutely unsure if this is still a reincarnation AU where everyone remembers their past lives or if it's a reincarnation AU where they don't, so that's why I'm keeping it so vague, lol. (also bc I'm honestly fond of the whole 'random focus on the side characters away from the main character (Lumine)')

Visions! Arsene doesn't have one considering he's using abyssal energies, but if he has to pretend, then it's a pyro vision. Ren got geo mostly bc I find it neat that his vision would crystallize after finding his persona again (in a different state than he's used to) and vowing to uphold their contract. Alternatively I love anemo for Ren for obvious reasons. Nagisa's hydro bc it just fits, and he's more of a support than a frontline fighter, though he does Tartaglia's funky hydro blade thing when cornered. Janosik got a dendro moon wheel because of his association with nature and also bc I find the mental image too funny that he ends up using the equivalent of bullet seed to play into his gun persona origin. For their weapons I went with a claymore for Janosik that he wields one-handed like an axe (If Arle can have a scythe), and he's got a pistol as well. Nagisa gets a general (short)sword bc he's not the most dps focussed character, Ren a funky catalyst bc he's very versatile, and Arsene has no weapon bc he uses pure abyssal energy, but he will do with a (cross)bow that doubles as a grappling hook.
