A collection of memes I made for the beloved and extremely talented @sunnylolli, also known as one of my favorite artists on this platform.
Sorry for the terrible quality, Tumblr does not seem to like uploading my photos correctly (not joking, they were all fine in Files, but the moment I uploaded them Tumblr decided to make everything blurry.
I hope you like them, some might not fit perfectly with CISFAYOT (I'm only partway through), but they were all a lot of fun to make. You have some incredible talent!
@sunnylolli
This is your fault </3 /j /nm
That Adrienne Lenker ask about Can I Stay For A Year or Two got me thinking about it again - And on top of this song for it Car Alarm (extended reprise) - YouTube
I am so ill, SO ill AND FINALLY FOUND THE SKILL to draw Arthur's stupid sidetable with the tiles! I've tried before but never felt that I got it right, so this is a big day for me. Rejoice, for his table has finally been realized. That and the improvised rug. I considered giving him a red rug, but the blue spoke to me. Also the lampshade has ridges, so the shadow also has ridges >:) But I had to crop the lamp out, since the image composition ended up looking silly with it in. Anyway, I'm rambling, please enjoy this

Hetalia question
What do you think the personifications jobs would be? How much money they got?
I love thinking about the technical side of how they would work in a modern society being whatever they are
In CISFAYOT I like paying attention to the details you put into them just existing and living
I actually have varying headcanons for this, depending on the au or what's convenient, because I love all the takes on it!
But in CISFAYOT, since you mentioned it specifically, I headcanon that their positions are very... Blurry.
They don't have any set objectives or assignments for a specific position specifically, but because of their whole not aging thing, having more labor-adjacent work is harder. Especially with people living much closer together than they used to and with social media making keeping their heads down and out of the way harder - Governments for a good chunk of the personifications offer up work and payment through unofficial programs. The pay I'm imagining also greatly varies.
It varies from country to country, and actually ties into the whole "nations revealed" au I have, where a group of countries group together to actually fight for some better working conditions and general rights - Since they don't qualify under any sort of legality as a person: the rights to freetime, privacy and rest doesn't really apply to them.
I imagined the most likely outcome (To aid my storytelling, that is. If I had to really think about it, it would've probably been different but-)
Alfred's government does not consider him a person, and therefore they don't treat him as one. So his job description is vague at best, non-existent at worst, and he's put into positions as an intern on some days, a mediator other days, and a paperwork mule every day around the clock - Because people think: "This is what we've always done and it's not like he has anything better to do. This is what he's here for."
Arthur's government doesn't exactly see him as being a person, but they can't exactly say he isn't one either. So his job title falls heavily on: "He's assisting our spokesperson for international relations, he's an aid for our cultural mediators and he's been knighted, so whatever, he's got ties to the royal family too."
And this grants him some immunity and a say in what he will and won't do. But beyond that, if he's called upon, he's expected to show up no matter what he was doing before. Because business calls and his government largely believes that he's made specifically to aid his leaders, so not that different from what it's like for Alfred.
HOWEVER!!!!! FOR ARTHUR, I'VE BEEN ABSOLUTELY ITCHING TO YAP ABOUT HIS FINANCIAL SITUATION, BECAUSE RIGHT OFF THE BAT, HEARING ABOUT HIM HAVING DIFFERENT PROPERTIES, TELLING ALFRED ON SOME OCCASIONS THAT "MONEY ISN'T A PROBLEM", YOU'D GET THE IMPRESSION THAT HE'S LOADED
But I really really like to think that he's not. Like he's old money, and by that I mean he's OLD. MONEY. But the old money in question is largely from owning land and property, and maintaining that land and property costs a lot of money. So whatever he earns, he's forced to put directly back into maintenance, upkeep and employees. So there may be a lot of revenue, but it's not really making enough profit to make much of a financial difference. So Arthur as a person just doesn't spend all that much money.
(Because he's literally got everything he needs and more in his storage room(s). All he spends his money on is food, pubs and the occasional trip overseas. He wears the same clothes until they go off, he doesn't care much about technology and he doesn't need to drive often enough that it becomes a financial liability.)
I imagine that by the time CISFAYOT takes place, Arthur's sold off a HUGE amount of land and estate and put that money into investments for himself. What he still owns, he's transferred maintenance over to certain families with lineages he can remember going back at least a century. And then, with some of his other belongings, he's sold or straight up given them away to archives and museums.
His main income is through the work he does for parliament, and small amounts of passive income that comes to him through, for example, castles being rented out for guests or tourists and the investments he's made at the bank.
CISFAYOT is going to be the perfect opportunity for me to actually start practicing backgrounds and such, STARTING WITH ARTHUR'S TOWNHOUSE FRONT FACADE so I have a visual point of reference for myself!!!
can we ask about wip's or is that top secret🙈?? 👀
Hehehe, they're not top secret, but bear with me because they're all a bit out of a context 🥹
I've been yapping a lot to my besties about the avian au, mostly and mainly because I love it so much. So I've been doodling concept designs for a tiny fraction of our conversations! But I never thought there was enough art to make the au make sense in posts, so I never got the courage to post it!
And then I have some stuff that's not really fleshed out beyond laughing or crying, or both over it:
I have others that are just a head with no body or anything, too, but I don't count those are WIPs I count them as thoughts and prayers
