I agree!! I can also picture Rhett as a slytherin lol, but def much more gryffindor. For link I think it’s really more hufflepuff.

I can most of all see Rhett as a Ravenclaw with his huge know-it-allness (he’d want to be one of the smart ones), but Gryffindor works too (he thinks he’s brave anyway). Link’s very Hufflepuff-y but Gryffindor can work for him surprisingly well too – he’s often braver than Rhett. The logical Ravenclaw frustrated with the Hufflepuff and his dumb antics is very them. So if both in the same house: Gryffindor, if different houses, Rhett Ravenclaw and Link Hufflepuff.

I think Link would actually fit in any of the houses (except maybe Gryffindor would be pushing it). Rhett is definitely a Ravenclaw with some Gryffindor traits. Since they would obviously choose the same house… Ravenclaw it is!

So I have a feeling that some quizzes might be slightly rigged to give more Gryffindors than other houses because that’s the house Harry Potter is in and they might assume it’s what ppl want PLUS no quiz can really tell you who you are or what house you truly belong in so one has to take them with a rather large grain of salt. Besides, I am not Rhett or Link so I can’t say for certain what they would have gotten had they taken the tests themselves.

That being said, I think you all have great points and I agree with all of you. I don’t think Rhett or Link is 100% any of the houses. Rhett is very Gryffindor, maybe not super brave but highly protective (especially when it comes to Link). He’s also a bit Ravenclaw, with his desire to know seemingly everything. He’s also a bit Slytherin, what with his love for the darker things and his highly-competitive nature. 

As for Link, I think he’s a bit Gryffindor; a strong protective instinct and a penchant to push forward without regard to consequences. I definitely see Slytherin in him: he can be very determined at times, even when it’s not advised, and he can be quite conniving, particularity when he thinks he can’t win fairly. Ravenclaw? Absolutely. He gets a bit of a reputation for being the ‘dumb one’, but I don’t think that’s fair. He’s smarter than he pretends and has a witty mind to match.

As for Hufflepuff I think both Rhett and Link have some of this inside them. Both are loyal to each other to a fault, have strong moral codes and have shown strong dedication to both their personal lives and in their professional lives. 

So yeah, pretty hard to peg either of them into one house or another. For the fic I may or may not have in mind, I would prefer them to be in different houses though if they ended up at Hogwarts in real life? Whomever went second would just request to be in the same house. No way they’d split up if they had a choice. 

🥐 Favourite foreign food?

answered this one already, but i’ll give my second favorite — and this is such a basic white person answer — but i absolutely love sushi. there’s a local restaurant here that has certain rolls for $5 on mondays and wednesdays and my go-to order is a volcano roll and an order of beef gyoza. 

🍟 Favourite fast food place?

it’s a tie between bojangles and taco bell, but dunkin’ gets a special mention bc i have an addition to their iced coffee.

🍪 Favourite sweets/candy/snack?

for sweets and candy, anything with peanut butter. peanut butter cookies, homemade pinwheel candy, reese’s cups... i also really like chocolate covered peanuts.

Where in the world are you? Australia? It’s always so jarring seeing a drastic time difference to mine (I’m in PST, so it’s almost 8pm). 

If you think it’s something you’ll use a lot, I support the investment. I bought a (not cheap) Coach briefcase bag in 2013 that I use practically every day. It’s leather, so it’s really held up and will for a long time.
