Tuca Tuca massage bar review!
Tuca Tuca is made with violets and roses primarily, and it also contains ylang ylang, vanilla, vetiver, and cassis, which smells some like black currants.
Even before I talk about the scent (which is lovely, fear not!), I need to talk about the texture... it's so smooth! No matter what temperature it is, Tuca Tuca goes on immensely smooth. All I need to do is touch it to my skin and slide it where ever I want some scent and moisture and it slips over me like silk!
Shimmy Shimmy at first went on very smoothly, the smoothest out of the three that I have, but it's struggling some in the cold, to my great sadness, because it's such a very comforting scent for me.
Strawberry Feels Forever does better, though it takes a tiny bit of warming up.
Tuca Tuca however, has absolutely blown me away.
It's scent is great when you pick up the bar to smell it, I think and it's even better and a little more complex when it gets onto skin. The predominate scent is violets, a blanket of them like lying down into a field of the flowers. It isn't overwhelming, but it makes its presence happily known.
Roses add a bit more sweetness, and there feels like a very faint hint of ylang ylang and vanilla that can just barely be detected.
It's a comforting scent for me, light and floral without being too sweet or powdery, it retains a bit of nature. It's more like lying outside in the sunshine surrounded by flowers than looking at a bouquet of them on a kitchen table (though those are nice too!).
