Tim Tadder, Bella Umbrella Cinemagraph, 2015
This is one of a few of Tim’s cinemagraphs which he produced in 2015, he creates highly-stylized action and fashion shots that engages viewers into the captured moment. Tadder has always been active in sports and exploration, and believes that being familiar with shooting live action makes it easier to recreate the look for shoots.
His use of using red and blue here also reflects the stereoscopic 3D effect typically used in films and whether that was intentional is not clear however the overall outcome portrays a very stylised, almost theatrical appearance. This is typically very different Tadder’s usual work as he primarily creates sport advertisements, often using Photoshop to create his final outcomes.

2009年にPARCOで発表した「Self portrait」という作品で使っていた「実際に描いた絵や写真などの印刷物が歪んだり色が変化したり動きだす」という表現。今度は素材やインクから見直し、明るい場所でも問題なくドライブするようになりました。また、電池でも動くようになったので、場所も選びません。たとえば、このように紙に印刷された写真が cinemagraph になり、実際に動き出します。
