For the Cinderella au, I was actually thinking that Abigail is actually a pretty cool sister to Hiro, like giving him extra food when Callaghan's not looking, offering to do some of the work for him XD. Also, the reason for this au is because i was watching Cinderella when I got this image of Tadashi telling Hiro to be kind and have courage :'(
Actually-Wait-BETTER idea for Fred's part in the Cinderella AU. Fred is the prince of it. But he's really bored and calls together all of the inventors of the land to build cool stuff for 'science'. He loves Hiro's idea (Hiro wears a kabuki mask though) and his rocket boots. Hiro runs off but later goes back for the boot. Fred adopts him on the spot and Hiro invents happily ever after.
Abigail is best big sis. Natch.
Fred would totally do something like that. Bored? Throw a ball! Huzzah! Better yet, a SCIENCE ball. And of course, taking place in the indeterminate past, that means a bunch of the inventions will be all steampunk and clockwork things, like little wind up automatons, or gas-powered hedge trimmers or something. Instead of giving Hiro a dress, Fairy Godmother!Baymax grants Hiro all of the specialized tools he needs to create the perfect invention.
With the power of the magic tools, Hiro creates rocket boots, which are Fred’s favourite because dude. Rocket boots. Except Hiro has to leave before the party is over because he realizes he’s been using up too much of his magical rocket fuel showing off, and he only has just enough left to make it home. But as he leaves, one of the shoes malfunctions, and it gets left behind. Somehow Hiro still gets home with the one shoe, but it was probably a very scary ride and he probably collided with at least 5 trees.
Fred starts scouring the kingdom, trying to find the one person who can repair the rocket boot, knowing they are his one true Science Bro. But no one can figure out their complex machinery.
It’s not until he arrives to visit the Callaghan household that they’re finally recognized. Callaghan has never paid much attention to his step-nephew’s creations, assuming that Hiro was a rather simple boy, but as the supplier of most of his tools and equipment, Abigail is very familiar with Hiro’s inventions and their signature touches. She immediately realizes the boot is his, even with the extra details.
But she can’t say that in front of her father, or he’ll sabotage Hiro’s chances. So she manages to run a distraction, claiming that she can fix the boot if only she has the right tools, and sends her father off to fetch them for her while she sweet-talks the Prince. Callaghan, hoping that his daughter will secure both a job in the courts and possibly a marriage, is happy to comply.
While he’s gone, she quickly brings Hiro in and has him fix the shoe for the Prince. Overjoyed, Fred declares that Hiro will be the royal inventor. And impressed with both her cleverness and her loyalty, he also insists that Abigail should come along as Hiro’s apprentice. She happily accepts.
And so there is a happy ending for everyone, even Callaghan who only wants the best future for his daughter. The end.
(Fairy Godmother Baymax flies away, happy that his work is done)
