“Wow... didn’t know you could skate, Queenie!” Cinder said, rocking up beside her. “AH! Alley-cat?! What are you doing here?!” she shrieked, shocked at the company. She could swear she was the only one who did this...
“Uhh... well, if I’m not deprived of my one brain-cell,” Cinder answered, smirking, “I’d say I’m ice skating. And you are too.” “Hmm... well, since you won’t talk..” she said, extending her arm outward, “wanna skate with me?”
“Sure, my pleasure,” Cinder said, hooking his arm around hers. The two began to skate around the rink in sync, almost figuratively dancing together, with their moves coordinating like pros. “You know, everyone’s always a bit apprehensive of you, Queenie,” he told her, “but... you’re sweet as honey, really.”
Even with the chilly rink surrounding them, Queenie blushed at Cinder’s comment. “U-Uhm... T-T-Thank you,” she said. “Did you just stutter?” “N-No! J-Just chilly, tha-that’s all...”
