it makes my brain itch that when the supernatural books are first introduced on the show and salmondean are exploring them, we see dean reading through them while sam does research, and he points out that he has a sex scene and that he's "full-frontal" with a seemingly disturbed tone.
we know the books had stopped at s3 ep16 no rest for the wicked which means we have sam and madison's sex scene, but the writers don't make dean comment on this despite it being a golden opportunity to make a classic joke where he teases sam about his sex life. instead, he is reading through season 1 and is at route 666 which means he's referring to his and cassie's sex scene- and while I do find it sexy and all, it's nowhere near as explicit as sam and madison's scene as portrayed on the show.
now i'm not sure why this writing decision was made and if it was intentional, but it is prompting me to think chuck was writing more sexually or explicitly about dean as the writers are choosing to highlight dean's sex-life rather than anything else. they also go on to mention wincest and that's more of a gag yet equally important because it's telling us that the "homoerotic subtext" exists in chuck's books as well.
and for discourse-repelling disclaimer, yes I understand that both boys were his favorite dolls. I'm just thinking about him and dean in regards to dean's sexual trauma during s4 right now. especially with the line "i didn't like hell" existing.
So I have a fic idea that I might start working on. I have worked pit the story line or anything but I know it's gonna have a lot of Dean pairings. It's Donna have destiel, wincest, Abadean, Charlie/Dean, Lisa/Dean, Kevin/Dean, Chuck/Dean, and even Death/Dean. I might even add a few more but those are the first that come to mind
