So our dear Usagi Yuichi has a very bad habit of sleeping like he's in a coma, but he also moves like he's fighting demons and TALKS in his sleep. He will, without fail, get 9 hours of sleep, and he's definitely not a morning person when he wakes up groggy and half dead. So here's a rendition of Leo's first sleepover with Yuichi.

Yuichi grew up in japan and only later migrated to the hidden city in New York... While his English is really good by the time he meets Leo, he still occasionally has moments where the right words just refuse to come to him right away xD

Yuicihi and Mona happen to have very distant history actually - during his debut fight at the battle nexus she happened to be in the crowd and... promptly got into a brawl with some other yokai, which got so loud and visible that it took Usagi's attention away from the fight and he promptly caught a devastating blow, ending his very first battle nexus fight far too early.

Raph also doesn't like him, but for VERY different reasons.

@miicycle and I were discussing how Mona would interact with the other brothers in our AU and we've come to the conclusion that she would find Donnie's science stuff UNBELIEVABLY cool.

Donnie is peeved by her limited frame of reference when she unknowingly compares his science to mystic stuff from the hidden city on occasion, but ultimately her palpable excitement and genuine interest in what he's doing overshadow the desire to throw her out for even just saying something so blasphemous.

So in the Chubiiverse canon he's got similar levels of overconfidence as Leo, but completely overestimates himself unlike Leo does. He ends up fighting in the Battle Nexus several times and has a cringefail crush on Leo once they meet! I decided to give him a flair of Miyamoto Usagi's robes cuz I like to think whenever a new kid grows up in the usagi household, they get given the robe as a testament to their skills as samurai :3 !!! Oh and the sharp part on the inner part of his eyes is specifically to make him look sharper during fights. Sharp = threatening !!
