Chu Chonghuan

Chu is the boss of our first biome, the earthen ruins. His powers/fighting style are meant to mimic Robin's own fighting style, for PLOT reasons. He has a dignified aura. In his lifetime, he was known for his vast accomplishments.
He could be described in many ways: a scientist, a philosopher, a protector, and a very reluctant warrior. A lot of people remember his accomplishments, but nobody really remembers who he was as a person. Heβs bookish, and has a very good poker face.
There is a wariness to Chu after his years in the Spirit World. Despite being a powerful shaman, Chu suffered a lot of indignities in his life because he came to America during the Chinese Exclusion Act. He still remembers an era when the βAsiaticsβ were not allowed to own property.

Chu Chonghuan, Biome 1's boss, is a fellow magic practitioner with very similar abilities to the player. He will intentionally attempt to max out your Lunar Rot by hitting you with ranged attacks then rushing in with a melee strike. Like Robin, he can also make use of Debt-blows so you'll have to be careful and keep your distance, especially if you've picked up a lot of Lunar Blood or Debt!
