It seemed the time had been flying by ever since Sumia had rescued Chrom at the Longfort. They had found a lot of things going on with the army, which was fine with her. She had her battles to fight in the kitchen and out on the battlefield. But most of all, there was just something she wanted to win inside of her heart. She knew that her commander was, after all, the Exalted Prince. But to her, he was more than that and she was hoping that he would accept her feelings.

She had always been by his side after all. She was worried that something could happen to him out on the battlefield, so she made sure to be close to defend him. At times it seemed that it would cost her, but Chrom was quick to jump and defend her as well. Her heart would jump a beat whenever he would do that as well. And of course after every battle the two would seem to celebrate with pie. It was just something she had suggested off to the side, so when he accepted she smiled brightly, thanking the gods silently.

"Oh, I hope he'll like this one." She said softly one day. She was putting in more love than usual to her pies, because she felt that with this one she could come out and confess how she felt to him. There were just so many little distractions though that she found herself tripping more than usual. And it was just her luck that once she had finished the pie, priding herself in it, that she would end up tripping as she was gonna let it cool, watching it soar out the window.

Her face only ended up flushing more as she saw that it ended up hitting Frederick instead of Chrom. "I-I'm sorry!" She called forth, watching him come on in. "Is something the matter Sumia? You've never been this careless before." He asked, getting a cloth to wash his face off. She knew that she could trust him and confided to him. As he listened to her story, he couldn't help but laugh a bit. "Feelings aren't that hard. And I know that Chrom truly cares about you already. You've been by his side for so long after all."

Her face seemed to blush up like a cherry when she heard that. "On top of that, seems he's been nervous about something. I think he's looking to tell you something. So go and find him." He added, getting a hug from Sumia before she moved quickly out to find Chrom. Sure, she did not have a pie with her this time, but thanks to Frederick she felt that she could tell him her love.

As Chrom had come out of the meeting tent, Sumia found herself staring over towards him, the blush still visible. "Hm? Something up Sumia?" He asked, his blush also notable. She took a bit of a breath, ready to let it out before he said, "If not there's something I wanted to ask you."
