Hi. I have recently been given the ok for top surgery and asked to pick between 3 surgeons, their names are Grit Debritz, Dr kneeshaw and Dr Caddy. Can anyone give me some advice on them?

Hi. I've just been accepted for a referral for top surgery, so I decided to ring the hospitals that do it to find out their average wait times for it at the moment. Since I know how hard it can be to find out information for anyone other than Yelland and Kneeshaw I though I'd share the results with you guys (1/2)
(2/2) The best estimates they could each give me were:
Dabritz - 8-9 months
Drew - 6-7 months
Caddy - 6 months
Rubin - 8 months-ish (They weren’t as confident on that one)
Rose - 7-8 months-ish (They weren’t too confident there either)
I couldn’t get an estimate regarding Sankar or Milroy.

For completeness, Yelland’s waiting list is around a year, and Kneeshaw’s waiting list is perhaps a month less.

hi, i'm in the process of choosing a surgeon for top surgery and its between Thangasamy Sankar from Kettering and Christopher Caddy from Sheffield. I know you already have some pictures of top surgery results from them but if anyone else has been to either of these surgeons and can share with me pictures or experiences with them please please contact me, I'm not sure where to go. thanks!
I understand Mr Caddy is retiring next year and so is no longer taking on new patients - which is not the question you asked, obviously, but will probably factor into your decision!

Thanks for your reply about my consultation! I got my surgery date 2 days after my consultation with dr caddy and it’s in April so not a long waiting list just incase anyone else was wondering.

Do you know how long it is from consultation for top surgery to actually having the surgery? I have a appointment with dr caddy tomorrow just wondering if I will get a surgery date or anything?
I’m guessing you’ve now got your answer as you’ll have had your consultation by now, but for general information: normally you’re not going to walk away from a consultation with a surgery date. It varies by surgeon, but you’re normally looking at at least a couple of months after the consultation before you’re given a surgery date.
