So.... im just here. Scrolling through tumblr and i decided to look up "modesty" and see what came up on the tumblr search. And it really made me sad to see that the majority of girls on that are muslim girls. Now dont take this the wrong way, i love that they are being modest. but where exactly are the CHRISTIAN girls at? I type christian modesty and i see KIM K with a short tight dress on. SERIOUSLY? Ladies, come on. Im pretty sure your bible says the same as mine. Jesus, the ONLY Lord and Savior wants us to cover up, to respect ourselves. The bible explains to us that our bodies are the temple of Gods holy spirit. How can something sooo holy abide in a body that is not holy, a body that reveals so much. its impossible. Showing your thighs, butt, chest,, shoulders, etc will not make the Lord happy. Covering up, respecting yourself, respecting the ONE AND ONLY true GOD , His one and only SON Jesus, and His holy spirit is whats important. The bible also says that if a man stares at a woman and lusts for her in his heart, he has then committed adultery... why would you want your brother in Christ to SIN? Why show your body and cause your fellow brother in Christ to slip ? Ladies, we have Jesus , we should be setting a Godly example for the world, an example for the people who are not saved yet. It seems that being a Christ follower is something that just gets thrown around like nothing, like it has no meaning!!!! Its ridiculous! It seems that many people like to say their Christ followers but DO NOT like to follow what the Christ says. The bible says if we are Luke warm God will spit us out of His mouth, why? Because that taste of our disobedience is so revolting to Him. the bible also says we have a choice, either you walk with the devil or you walk with Jesus. If you say your a Christ follower, then dress like one, act like one, speak like one, preach His word like one. It says that we shall be judged by our fruits, meaning each of us are trees planted by the Lord, and He gave us the power to decide which kind of fruit we want to give... good fruit, or rotten fruit. Think about the kind of fruit you are giving to GOD. John the Baptist said that every tree that does NOT produce good fruit will be CUT DOWN and THROWN INTO THE FIRE (HELL). Read Gods word and start living it ladies and gents please! You are the body of Christ... start acting like Him. 

Disclaimer : If you have been offended by this rant then maybe you need to look to Gods word or look to God in prayer because everything i mentioned is 100% Biblical. and i can find the verses for you if you want. Remember the bible was not made to show us our GOOD , because NO ONE is good - as the word says, the BIBLE was made to show us our sin and make us uneasy so that we can CHANGE. 

A few days ago, I concluded what turned out to be a long and very stressful endeavor: shopping for modest clothes online. My browsing history is littered with at least a hundred Google searches using the words "Modest," "Christian," "Apparel" and "Clothes" probably in every possible order. The results turned out to be...umm...interesting.

I'd be lying if I said I was particularly enthused.
