Honest to god, how are you guys even interpreting Bellamy watching people dance as him being jealous? I have literally seen more emotions from Bran Stark than I did from Bellamy in that moment. If anything, I think he looked completely unbothered. Which sucks because I wanted him to have at least a reaction.
Snapping at Ec.ho is something we got into in 6x03 when she tried to push Bellamy with Octavia and Bellamy cut her off. Ec.ho was all "the plan first" while Bellamy was obviously hurting. It bothered him that Ec.ho didn't get that or showed the support he needed in that moment. It's not a reach to think he held on to those feelings and then snapped when Ec.ho again was like "Bellamy if you're gonna feel this way et etc". He was already feeling annoyed with Ec.ho before in 6x03 because of this very issue with Octavia and feelings.
What I think is a little bit of a reach is to claim Bellamy was so jealous of Clarke and white boy grounder doctor dancing that he snapped at Ec.ho about Octavia and having feelings because he actually wanted to be the one dancing with Clarke so in 3 seconds he found a completely unrelated problem to be mad about that so he yelled at his girlfriend about his sister, when he wasn't even mad about his sister, he only wanted to be with Clarke, even though we just had an entire episode of Ec.ho and Bellamy having issues connecting about Octavia.
I realize this last part sounds super confusing. That's because that's what it sounds like when I hear fandom right now..
