Christ Kitchen of San Diego - Feeding Those in Need
As the current general manager of the Los Angeles Express Lanes program for the Americas Commercial & State Transportation Group, former United States Navy Captain David Schnell provides technology solutions for electronic toll collection, commercial fleet operations, and other vehicle services. Captain David Schnell also serves as the executive director of Christ’s Kitchen in San Diego, California. Christ’s Kitchen is a non-profit organization that is designed to help feed homeless individuals and others who need help in the greater San Diego area. Affiliated with San Diego’s Bread of Life Ministry and the San Diego chapter of the American Red Cross, Christ’s Kitchen works in conjunction with many religious groups and local churches to provide meals for hundreds of people each week. The program is operated completely by volunteers who also deliver meals to the homeless who are unable to come to the downtown location. Christ’s Kitchen is always accepting financial contributions and welcomes new volunteers.
