Roommates, we know that you guys remember seeing that first video of #AltonSterling being murdered in Baton Rouge back in July. If you didn't know, it was posted by #AirForce veteran #ChrisLeDay (@mobbgod) with the purpose of it going viral, because he was sick of seeing cops get away with corruption. Ironically, the day after the video went viral, LeDay was approached at his job on Dobbins Air Reserve Base by multiple officers and was arrested for having open traffic citations and an alleged assault charge. _________________________________ His lawyer, Tiffany Simmons, later proved his innocence, however, the harassment LeDay experienced from these officers cost him his job for over three weeks. He figured that this was some form of police retaliation, but the activist says that after standing his ground, he has now returned back to work. _________________________________ Talia O: What exactly did you do to get your job back and what advice do you have for people who may feel intimidated by police? _________________________________ C. LeDay: I stood my ground and got results. They were lying the whole time.
