“What makes a Smart City?”
This is a recording of the My Kinda Place radio show on Sheffield Live from Thursday the 19th May, in which the host Richard Motley talked at length to Dr Rick Robinson and Chris Dymond about what a ‘smart city’ is, what is happening elsewhere in the world and what Sheffield might learn from it.
Dr Rick Robinson (@Dr_Rick) is IT Director for smart data and technology at Amey Plc, and is an international writer and speaker on smart city concepts and strategy.
Chris Dymond, (@chrisdymond) is a director of Sheffield Digital, the association for digital industries in Sheffield, and Unfolding, which helps organisations and cities develop applications and human networks. He is also one of the organisers of SmartSheffield.
Richard Motley (@IAmTheMotman) is a director of Integreat Plus, a social enterprise set up to help support individuals, communities and businesses to achieve their place based ambitions, as well as being the host of My Kinda Place which goes out every Thursday morning at 9am on Sheffield Live.
