1958 Gibson Flying V. NOT A REISSUE 😳

With Union Sound '24 (the guitar event of the summer season!) just around the corner, I thought I would look back at a pretty mind boggling guitar that showed up at the 2022 event. A real, no fooling, original, vintage Korina Flying V! This is by far the most valuable and rare guitar I have ever had the good fortune to be in the same room with!

I don't think this guitar will show up again at the 2024 event (attendees usually bring different instruments from their collections every year), but rumor has it that a certain well-known local luthier, who shall remain nameless (but you all know him), got to measure and scan this one after the 2022 event, and has produced an exact and impeccable replica of this very guitar. It would be so cool to see the replica at this year's event, Mr. certain well-known local luthier, nudge-nudge hint-hint say more! 😉
