I know, I know, that's how it is in the comics, but it feels unfair to him. No matter who would have originally played Captain America or how many times it has been explained that Sam is now CA, the situation remains the same. Regardless of Chris's portrayal or the explanations surrounding his character's return as a nomad, people will always view him as Captain America.

It's obviously on those people who can't accept or comprehend the fact that Sam is cap now, but at the same time I think Marvel should've seen this coming, especially when we're talking about a beloved character.

It reminded me of those old Marvel days. Of those funny interviews and red carpet events. The whole fandom was so different, but I also saw him differently back in the day, and I kind of miss that guy. Or who I thought he was. Don't misunderstand me; I wouldn't have had a problem with him settling down or having a kid. It's not about me wanting him for myself or whatever; we all know why whatever this whole thing is is problematic.

It definitely seems like he is not coming back as Captain America, hence why it says that Steve Rogers will return.

Maybe he signed a new deal with Marvel that we don't know about yet? This would explain why, so far, he is unemployed this year, with no new film confirmed yet, because if he signed a new contract with Marvel, Mr. "hate responsibility" planned to clear his schedule to stay with Marvel for the entire year and nothing else.

Yeah! I don't know; I just feel like there is something we don't know. I could be wrong, but it feels like it. I mean, he's said he would be into coming back as Johny, and it's been rumored, so I can imagine it happening. That would explain Comic-Con, and the fact he is coming back to Marvel could be one of the reasons we don't know about him having a new project. Maybe it's bullshit, but this whole thing doesn't really make any sense to me right now.
