Last week was mental illness awareness week. Our friends over at the Nami Camden County set up this wonderful display in our library (featuring some books on mental illness our collection has as well). To learn more about mental illness and how you can help a loved one in your life that is living with mental illness please feel free to check out their website http://www.naminj.org/
Sadly banned books week has come and gone... BUT it will be back next year and these books are still available for checkout at our library (and possible yours as well)
Photo-a-Day Challenge Day Seven: A book you’d never part with
Asking a person who works in a library to choose just ONE is impossible. Personally, these are the books that have stuck with me long after I’ve read them. AND they are still on my shelf to this day. So tumblr... what is the one (or few) book you will never part with? Don’t forget to snap a photo and use the tag #chplnj to let us know.
