We all get to choose our path. We have more control than we think or realize. That sounds empowering, yet... our plans aren't always the best for our lives. I know my life has had some curveballs and on this side of it, looking back, I am SO VERY GRATEFUL. You see, I'm not one who jumps at every opportunity for change or adventure. I'm an overthinker... an analyzer. That, of course, has pros and cons. Even when it is God's plan and He opens the door and shows me what is possible, He has to sometimes KICK me through the door. If you relate, I GET IT. There are also times when the open door sure is appealing, but in my heart I know it isn't His will. In those times, I have to pray for strength to resist and make a better decision. I've not always chosen wisely. I guess the point is, you have to stay in HIs word to stay in HIs will. He will give us the discernment we need to make the best decisions and follow His plan, but it may feel scary. It may be out of our comfort zone. Move anyway. I GUARANTEE His plan is ALWAYS BETTER.
