I wanted to write something so badly and that was all that came out
Sometimes, Anti woke up to the movement of the bed, and the sound of a door opening.
He blinked his eyes open, making sure to look around the dark room, until he saw the balcony door opened, letting the moonlight come inside, illuminate the room slightly.
Most times, he turned back to sleep. That night, he stood up and rubbed his eyes, making his way outside and staring to his lover's back, leaning against the wall in silence.
Then, he would approach him, wrap his arms around his waist, and kiss his nape.
"Come back to bed" he whispered, nuzzled against his strong back, and Bing sighed, standing exactly where he was, holding Anti's hands over his stomach.
"I like to watch the stars" he whispered back, and Anti looked up, staring at the white dots in the black sky. "They calm me down, somewhat"
Bing would chuckle, and shake his head.
Sometimes, Dark would open his eyes, almost scared, and would catch his breath, turning to face the window outside.
He would see the stars and somewhat, relax. Then, he would feel warmth behind him, arms around his waist, breathing against his head, and he would curl up, holding the hands that held him in place.
"Wilford" he whispered in the silence, and he would humble, pulling Dark closer. "Do you think... the stars can see us down here?"
Wilford lifted his head, and looked over Dark's shoulder to the window.
"if we can see them, they can see us, I suppose" he whispered, kissing Dark's neck, and nuzzling against his shoulder. "Why don't we turn back to sleep?"
"You can sleep... I think I will... contemplate this for a while longer" he whispered, and Wilford nodded, holding him close.
He fell asleep, and Dark continued to stare forward.
Sometimes, Google tried to comprehend the need of staying outside.
He extended his charging cable for that exact reason, and now he understood why it was so important, somehow.
He leaned against the wall, after an hour of having Chase cry against his shoulder, and now, upon the light of the stars, next to the balcony door, he sat down, holding a sleeping Chase against his chest, and watched the stars.
And unlike usually, he took the time to admire the stars in silence, not thinking about the science behind them.
Just thinking about how beautiful they were.
Perhaps like this, he would understand love.
He would understand Chase.
And his feelings for him.
He looked down at the asleep man against him, and sighed, holding him closer and closing his eyes, leaning back against the wall.
Maybe he would never understand.
And maybe he didn't have to.
