When you ask your director if you can sing the optional high note on free in the National Anthem, and she says yes... and then puts all the other sopranos on the same note.

When your concert is in a week and your director decides to have you memorize an extra song. And it’s in Dorian and very wordy.

When the soprano section doesn’t come in first and wants to skip all visible rests.

When sopranos get the finally get the harmony and struggle and complain for three weeks straight.
