God! reader just discovered that they have abilities as of recently and one of them was the ability to see different dimensions, however, there are some conditions that apply to this abilty

1. They can only see the past and the present of their alternate selves

2. Can be seen as dreams or as visions

3. If anything happens to one of them the other will experience it as well and they can witness the events in 1st or 3rd person (however, it won't affect their bodies physically but they will feel the sensation and emotions).

4. To be able to see the present both alternate individuals must be alive (If one is dead then the other will see as far as their alt's death before the whole thing repeats itself)

God! reader found out about this ability when they were dreaming and came to a realization after seeing their alternate selves moving on their own.

Now think of the absolute horror as God! reader witness and experience all of the torture that Imposter! reader when through to the point of their alt's death by the archons before waking up screaming and crying.

Imagine all the soft! cults heard them and went to comfort them but to their horror (especially the archons), God! reader flinched away from them and curled up into a ball in the corner of the room with nothing but raw unfiltered terror, betrayal, misery in their eyes.

Only a very group of selected individuals (those who were kind to the imposter! reader like the kids, teens, and very few of the adults) were able to touch them to calm them down.

After that event, all of the cults was in a panic and despair as they all wonder what had caused their god to become so scared to the point of isolation (even Teyvat was worried).

However, the answer came to all of them the next night when the were reader's ability when out of control before it became completely stable.

At the point in time when their ability when out of control all the cult members from both dimensions were able to witness their alternate selves past and present from the time both readers entered Teyvat.

And. It. Was. Absolute. Hell to both parties.

From the soft cult! watching their alternate selves harming and killing their precious creator to the point of Teyvat destruction (eldritch ver) to the imposter cult! watching the chance they would have had with their creator if they had listened (which to them is worst than any torment they had ever gone through)

Until woke up back in their respective dimension.

Seeing reader waking up absolutely terrified or the imposter au reader waking up wishing their dream would last longer please they're so tired of running they just wanna feel happy for once even if it's fake-

Imagine if they get used to this power of their's so they start helping out the imposter au reader. At first it's just letting them into the soft au for a while, letting them experience what they should have what they deserve. Then, it goes to tormenting the supposed acolytes with the soft au.

It's the imposter but they're pampering them?? And adressing them as their god????

At first they think it's them having nightmares of betraying their god but the dreams are so good??? They're so happy and their heart flutters as their god - imposter?? - smiles without any pain or blemishes on their skin. They're well fed and well taken care of.

Why do they want this imposter to be treated well?

but as a ftm i totally latched onto the idea of venti and xingqiu taking into account the aesthetics i liked to help me look like a feminine guy and then thought about what itd be like if darling decided to go through w tw// medical procedures (darling recovering from surgery as a perfect excuse for the cult to just fucking pamper u more than usual) and then i remembered. this au has impostor!darling at the beginning. like if i were darling that would literally be my thought process. like i was So Caught Up in the Euphoria of Being Flat, that for a moment i lived in a world where all of teyvat hadnt been trying to kill me.

i'd be so euphoric about being flat chested that i completely forget the whole trying to kill me thing they were doing.

They'd be like "Do you forgive us?"

And i'd be all confused like "Forgive you for what?"

It's just stunned and confused silence for a solid minute until i realize "OOOOHHH YEAH YALL TRIED TO KILL ME! Uh... ill forgive you if i can get testosterone shots?"

YES!!! also ngl i love Ei to death but the puppet thing she got going on highkey confuses me. But it makes sense she probably would.

It’s so funny to see them so desperate for forgiveness after all the horrid things they did, only for reader to just leave and attend to their matters (bonus points if their pain is as guttural as reader’s was). Oh, but if someone hurt their friends? Gone, reduced to atoms; nobody will suffer what they had to go through, and they will make sure of it (I love all the monsters in the game, and to see them helping reader out was so cute :’) ).
