The occasional stop on various planets for tech was becoming a bit of a habit for the Doctor. He was currently working on some of the tech under the TARDIS console, a habit that unfortunately required new parts to tinker with. It passed the time[however you would define it, he wasn't too sure sometimes. Actually, he wasn't ever sure how much time passed. It just passed.] and he needed something that resembled a processor. 

He was having a bit of trouble with that at the moment, as the time period he had landed in was a bit dodgy with the tech. The Doctor figured that he was somewhere [on Earth] between the 90's and the 00's. As in 2000 00's, not 1900 00's. If he could find something that resembled a simple converter, it would be very helpful.

He finally found a little electronics store in the United States [not too sure where though; he didn't end up Stateside very much] and was brosing around the local tech for something, ANYTHING that somewhat resembled a converter. Glasses on, he was browsing and finally stumbled on something similar to what he might be needing. Brows furrowing, he knelt down and mused over it a bit, mumbling a bit to himself about converters and gigawatts, megajoules, etc. in the process.
