How did you change your theme with homebrew? I have figured out homebrew but not how to make themes, and I use firmware 10.3
Just in case any one else wants this but doesnāt have homebrew/etc Iāll put in the linksĀ ā„<BrowserhaxĀ ā„ ā„ Ā ā„ Ā ā„Ā Ā (THIS ONE IS V IMPORTANT)
Please note that Iām not responsible for anything that happens to your gameās/ds like none of the other helpers are.
Letās get started!I work off of 10.3 firmware as well, and this will obviously work for anyone else who can use homebrew!
The first thing you want to do is check and see if you have CHMM2. Open up homebrew, and scroll down looking for something that looks likes this:
If you donāt have it follow these instructions:1.Download the app from here: http://rinnegatamante.it/site/2.Once you open the downloaded .zip youāll see 3 folders. Open the one named CHMM2 and you should see an empty folder called Themes and other files. Extract the Themes folder to the root of your 3ds SD card.3.On your 3ds sd card go to the folder named 3ds and inside of it create a new folder called CHMM2 . Double check for typos.4.Open the folder named CHMM2 you just created and inside of it extract the files named CHMM2.3dsx (Not CHMM2.3ds) and CHMM2.smdhIt should look like this:
You shouldnāt have to do this, but just in case, check, check, check!!
Once youāre done checking/installing (if needed) youāll be able to move onto the themes!
Theme instructions begin here~Ā
1.Download a Theme from https://3dsthem.es/ and youāll have a zip named Theme.zip once you open it youāll see the theme files.2.Go to the root of your 3ds sd card and look for the folder named Themes.inside of that Themes folder create a new folder with the name you want to give to the theme you downloaded. In my case Iāll name it Wario Ware, Inc. Theme3.Open the folder you have just created inside the Themes folder and extract your theme files from the .zip on itIn my case my sd looks like this:
Repeat the process for other themes.
(Please Note: I just used the main sourceās info)
Okay! Once youāve done all of this, re-open homebrew, find your CHMM2, hit A to open it. Give it some time to let it load up, find the pattern you want to use, press A (Press Y for a preview) and there you go! Youāve installed your very own theme! You can make your OWN theme, but I have to go searching for that link (I havenāt tried it, so I donāt know how handy it is).
Somethingās I want to address is that:The site DOES say to use a reg theme before you install the theme from homebrew. However, when I want to use Menuhax w a theme on, it never works for me, so I have to take it off. If you run into this, find the QR code and open it that way. IF that doesnāt work, SAVE the link that pops up when you use the QR code and put it in your bookmarks! The link to save in your bookmarks: http://yls8.mtheall.com/3dsbrowserhax_auto.php
I hope this helps everyone who wants to use the theme hack!If you have any questions and/or need help with this, I will do to my best to help you! Feel free to send me an IM or an ask whenever~Iāll be trying the emulators for games like the GBA/PS1/etcetc, so if anyone wants help with that let me know, and Iāll see if I can help!
Good luck babies! Enjoy your themesĀ ā„
PLEASE BE CAREFUL WHILE UPDATES AREĀ HAPPENINGĀ IF YOUāD LIKE TO NOT LOSE YOUR ABILITIES TO HACK.
