I think you should do it were ever you feel confortable with the tatto, if you like it there and its whats gonna make you happy then do it just remember is forever :)
for first tattoo there is always that feeling you will regret it or what if that's not the right place to make tattoo there? i'm still thinking about some words on my ribs because that's one of places where people can't see it ( only in summer ) but i have to think that people doesn't like tattoo if i'm looking for job but in the same time my job is going to be creative and idk. i'm kinda scared of first tattoo, haha
tattoo behind your ear is not going to be that noticeable and that's good too
